I was there for a birthday dinner in a private room. The service was spectacular. I mentioned I could not have tomatoes and our server made sure that the kitchen staff made a separate sauce without and tomato. The food was delicious. I really liked the shrimp and grits.

We dined here for my husband's 30th birthday at the kitchen table and it was phenomenal! The food was excellent and the service was top tier. Jason Green and Engel made the dinner so special. I could not recommend this enough to others. We will definitely be back.

Came in on a wednesday night for their 2 dine for 99$ 3 course prix fixe meal. Dress code: semi-formal, jacket is recommended but not required, there is an official dress code on their website so would recommend checking this out before going. Food: 4/5 we got their snapping turtle soup and soup of the day for apps, their petit filet/shrimp and grits and their eggs Brennan for mains and their souffle and bread pudding for dessert. I personally didn't love the egg sardou although it wasnt bad, felt a little underseasoned. Everything else was delicious, wine selection was great as well. Service: 5/5, food was brought out promptly, server was helpful and friendly but not intrusive. Had issues with finding our booking on open table but no complaints as we made it pretty late and they had no issues finding us a table Ambiance: 5/5, seated in a corner seat, was beautiful with very comfortable and plush arm chairs. Not a ton of other guests so fairly quiet. Parking: valet or street parking

Beautiful dim lit interior. A great choice for date night. The Long Island was delicious and the food came out great. The beef tip Diane wasn't on the menu but the chef was kind enough to make it for me anyway. Great spot

The food was fabulous, as was expected at an Brennan's owned restaurant, but the people made our experience truly magical. It was a night we will always remember with great fondness! We dined at the kitchen table with our dear friends who are soon moving away. Our brilliant, courteous, and kind server, Samantha, took impeccable care of us from the moment we arrived until we left after almost 3 hours! Jason Green, aka a Brennan's ROCKSTAR, was the sous chef; he put such thought and care and amazing skill into each dish served. He took the time to explain each dish and its components and method of preparation; we were so very interested in his knowledge and expertise! Even more importantly, he was personable and oh so kind. What a nice human he is! The front of the house manager, (I believe that is his title) whose name I cannot recall, checked on us several times! Amazing! We haven't stopped talking about our experience there and my mother-in-law now wants to treat 20 of her Houston based grandchildren and their significant others to a kitchen table dinner! Obviously we will have to reserve several nights to give everyone a chance to have this delightful experience! Thank you, thank you!

Great dinner spot for a special occasion!! Staff is super friendly and makes you feel so special! Got the turtle soup, beef tenderloin, and banana foster! All were great!! Really enjoyed the banana foster show! Parking is stress-free and valet for $5!

I was raised on Brennan's of the New Orleans variety. This was my second time at the Houston location, and it does not disappoint. The service was impeccable despite crossing into it being the time between services, and the atmosphere was lovely as always - I love the amount of natural light that comes in. Strawberry fields for a drink was refreshing, the gulf coast oysters were better than I expected (I'd never had raw gulf coast oysters), shrimp and grits is a favorite of mine, and if I could have banana foster on a daily basis without gaining weight, I would. All in all, a wonderful experience and already trying to figure out when I can go again!
